    THE REFUGE

    The refuge is located in Val Codera near Alpe Coeder in a breathtaking position. Inaugurated in 1933, the refuge was rebuilt in 1946 and finished two years later. Named after Luigi Brasca in 1948, it was refurbished some years later.

     

    HOW TO REACH THE REFUGE

    Reach the town of Novate Mezzola, past the train station,  take the road to Mezzolpiano, then a muletrack to Avedè, set among chestnut trees,  with a wonderful view on  Legnone Mountain, Novate and Como Lakes. After reaching the village of Codera, the road continues to Alpe Saline (1045 m) and the refuge (4 h)
